Congratulations to all winners of the #ARC20Awards!

This year on behalf of Manhave Vastgoed, Steven Manhave is a jury member at the ARC20Awards 12 November Amsterdam. Organized by magazine de Architect NL.

The ARC20 Architecture Award is awarded to recently completed projects that innovatively combine high performance in the field of sustainability in the broadest sense of the word with surprising architecture. Projects are sought that are innovative in the fields of energy, materials and technology, that set new standards for commercial real estate, housing and public facilities or that solve urban and/or ecological problems.

According to Steven Manhave: "Participating in the jury was an honour. Thanks to Architect NL and Tarkett who made this initiative possible. For the ARC20 Architecture Award, a longlist was first compiled from 138 entries, from which the three nominated projects were then selected. This was an intensive and inspiring process with fellow jury members Bastiaan Kalmeyer, Frederik Pöll, Marieke Giele and chairman Dikkie Scipio."

View the three nominees Neutelings Riedijk Architects, NL Architects B.V. and Serge Schoemaker with Gare Maritime in Brussels, Forum Groningen and Fort van Hoofddorp respectively.

As the winner of the ARC20 Architecture Award, the jury members unanimously chose Neutelings Riedijk Architecten for Gare Maritime!

The jury is impressed by the way in which this project contributes to the revitalization of this district of Brussels. In addition, the project provides reuse and the addition of wood provide a good answer to the issue of sustainability. This makes Gare Maritime a wonderful example project for contemporary design assignments in architecture.
