Lumière will be a multifunctional residential tower with a maximum height of 200 metres with approximately 400 rental apartments, a hotel, flexible offices, social facilities, business premises, high-quality retail and restaurants.

Lumière district

Manhave and VORM, in collaboration with the Municipality of Rotterdam and KAAN Architecten , are tackling the redevelopment of the district where the renowned Lumière Theater was located between 1955 and 2003.

Lumière will play a crucial role in the city centre as a new hinge for living, working and staying in the dynamic environment of the Central District, Coolsingel, Lijnbaan, Kruiskade and Schouwburgplein, among others.

Lumière will be a new icon with international allure for the Rotterdam city centre.

From the Lijnbaan through the Atrium you arrive at the Lijnbaanhof. This court is characterized by high-quality use of materials, intimate spaces and lots of greenery.

The passage with the Atrium connects the Lijnbaan with the inner area of Lumière. The main entrance is on the Kruiskade, between City House and Lumière.
