In the new IWC boutique, visitors can get acquainted with the different luxury watch collections of IWC: from their iconic Big Pilot watches and the recent collection of coloured ceramic models, to the classic Portugieser watches.
The boutique will be managed in collaboration with Schaap en Citroen Juweliers, a national household name within the Dutch jewelry and watch industry for over 130 years.
Special technological features
The store is located at Kruiskade 61 and covers an area of 124 m². As soon as you step inside, you enter a fully immersive interior in which the most iconic product lines are central and important aspects such as the technical expertise and material knowledge of the brand are highlighted.
Various special features can be found in the boutique. All watch displays are equipped with touchscreen technology, giving visitors access to a wide range of information about the timepieces, including the product's history, technical specifications and the options available to personalize the watch.
Visitors can also learn more about the brand's unique expertise in materials, IWC-manufactured timepieces and complications. To emphasize the characteristic story of IWC's DNA, a technical wall with watch cases made of different materials and components of IWC movements have been installed on the ground floor. In the private lounge on the mezzanine, visitors can find a display case where the masterpieces are exhibited.
New personalized shopping experience
Through this new personalized shopping experience, IWC looks forward to sharing the brand's rich history and introducing the collection to the Rotterdam community and beyond. The location in the centre of Rotterdam has been carefully chosen based on the expectation that the Kruiskade will play a prominent role for international luxury brands and shops within a few years. IWC Schaffhausen is proud to play a pioneering role in this and expand into this fast-growing city, with a unique concept that intelligently connects the commercial and digital worlds.
