Since April, Sandra is the new Boutique Manager of Skins Cosmetics at the Kruiskade in Rotterdam. She is new to this location, but she has been associated with Skins for over ten years via another location.

In Breda, her adventure began with the takeover of the store, and grew into an intensive collaboration with co-founder Philip Hillege. She was also involved in the move to a larger building on the Wilhelminastraat in Breda. The style and grandeur of Skins Rotterdam were an important source of inspiration at the time. And now Sandra works at this beautiful location herself.

From Breda to Rotterdam

More than ten years ago, Sandra was given the opportunity to take over the Skins boutique in Breda. There, she built a loyal clientele and, together with co-founder Philip Hillege, she designed a new store at a prominent location: the Wilhelminastraat, also known as the PC Hooftstraat of Breda. The Skins boutique in Rotterdam was an important source of inspiration. Together, they have worked on the further growth and popularity of Skins in recent years. Sandra is now using her experience and passion for the location at the Kruiskade, the place that was once her example.

A warm homecoming at the Kruiskade

The Skins store in Rotterdam is a beautiful location: an elegant boutique with international allure, high ceilings and a luxurious look. After her time as owner of the boutique in Breda and a short adventure at Skins Oisterwijk, the move to Rotterdam felt like a logical step. The position of Boutique Manager became available and everything fell into place. The store runs like a well-oiled machine, with a close-knit team and its own beauty salon on the first floor. For Sandra, it feels like a homecoming: cycling through her own city to a place that feels like an extension of her story at Skins.

More than products

For Sandra, Skins is all about experience. Her absolute favourite? A treatment in the beauty salon above the boutique. “After a treatment with Kayleigh, Bianca or Karin, you feel reborn and your skin glows.” Soon, the treatments will be performed with products from the Italian brand Irene Forte. Sandra is already a fan of the Hibiscus Night Cream!

Legendary French Toast

During her break or after work, Sandra can often be found near the boutique. For brunch, she prefers to go to Bertmans, where they have the best French toast according to her. And for a relaxed dinner in the sun, she joins neighbour O’pazzo, where you can enjoy Italian classics on the terrace. In this way, she combines work, comfort and her favourite addresses in a place that inspires every day.
