It's almost time for the Rotterdam Rooftop Days! The tenth edition will take place from Thursday 29 May to Monday 9 June 2025.

During the Rotterdam Rooftop Days you walk (almost) between the clouds, admire unique architecture and enjoy view after view. Manhave is also participating this year and provides access to a roof on the Westewagenstraat.

Roetsj and minigolf

During this edition of Rotterdam Rooftop Days, there is plenty to discover and experience at great heights. This year, you can slide down the roof of the Maritime Museum via a giant slide! Stroll through a splashing exhibition at heights, admire the impressive view of the Coolsingel and Leuvehaven, and end your visit with an adrenaline rush. Slide down the slide. Prefer to keep both feet on the ground? The stairs are still there.

Or how about a game of mini golf on the roof of the Startmotor, near Zuidplein? This brand new residential complex shows how you can use flat roofs: as a playful and social meeting place.

Westewagenstraat

On Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 June, small groups of visitors will have the opportunity to visit a special place. Seven times, and each time with a maximum of 15 people, they will climb the roof of the Westewagenstraat, accompanied by one of the audience guides, where a unique experience awaits them.

Upstairs, they meet the Irish theatre maker Patrick O'Reilly. In a compelling 15-minute monologue, he tells how he is looking for his great love from the roof, whom he met days before on the Grote Kerkplein. In this performance about city roofs, fantasy and freedom, Patrick takes you along in a story about being yourself - in your head, your body and in the space around you. And of course at the end he sees him walking and the visitors see their reunion.
